The Himachal Pradesh CPM has asked the Chief Minister to immediately intervene into the investigations being carried out at Dharamshala to unearth the tribulations done by HPCA. Senior state party leader Tikender Singh Panwar, in his press communiqué claimed that previous Govt had done large scale irregularities while allotting land to the HPCA for the construction of the Pavilion Hotel.
One of the irregularity that if proved correct shall have widespread ramifications on the entire exercise of construction of the hotel. Panwar claimed that the Khasra Numbers, on which the hotel is being constructed, are different than on which the NOC from the panchayat was forcibly obtained. This accused the previous BJP led Govt for favoring HPCA and also accused former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal to relax mandatory norms to allot land to HPCA without even verifying the facts on the ground.
Panwar said that in case the details furnished above are correct the entire deal to construct the hotel becomes null and void and should be immediately taken back by the government. The party has asked the government to immediately bring the facts to light and bring the guilty to book.
Earlier, CPM has released the list of 25 life members, where 15 out of 25 permanent HPCA members are non Himachali and six were from Jalandhar alone. Couple of days back Chief Minister has revealed that HPCA’s Kanpur address were fake and also hinted that further probe can also reveal more surprising truth about the management and functioning of cricket body.
