State government official said that necessary electrical equipments had been sent to Sangla and Pooh of rain-ravaged Kinnaur district to meet the electricity requirements in the areas where the main electric cables were snapped due to massive landslides in the district.
He said that sufficient amount of fuel had been dispatched for the machinery involved in clearance of roads in the district. The work on roads is being carried out on war footing and till date, 22 out of 43 roads have been operational and rest of the link roads would be cleared by 5th July, 2013.
However, as per Border Road Organization authorities, road between Malling to Chango will take over a month to get restored for vehicular traffic. He said that sufficient amount of ration was being sent to the affected areas to meet the requirements of the people.
