Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh inaugurated a multipurpose training centre of Swan River Integrated Watershed Project at Rampur in Una district. The Centre has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.68 crore with the assistance of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The Centre has the facility of providing training to as many as 32 farmers/ participants in latest integrated watershed management techniques.
Chief Minister also inaugurated academic block of nursing training institute-HIMCAPES constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.75 crore at Badhera in Haroli tehsil. He also laid foundation stone of multispeciality Hospital of HIMCAPES to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 10 crore.
Earlier, Virbhadra Singh inaugurated the Forest Rest House cum Communication and Information Centre at Panjawar constructed at a cost of Rs. 58.52 lakh under Swan River Integrated Management Project being implemented in catchment area of Swan River in cooperation with JICA.
The work on this centre had been completed in a record time period and would be used for meetings, trainings, seminars etc. during project period besides used as Forest Rest House later.
