BJP state president Satpal Singh Satti ridiculed the State Govt decision to allow Himalyan Ski Village and Wall Mart like multi brand retails in state. He alleged that Congress led Govt has done its homework to sell state to outsiders.
In his press communiqué, BJP state president alleged that multi brand retail will impact the business of small and marginal shopkeepers and will adversary impact on employment in state. Satti said that initially these foreign companies will doll out lucrative offers and will work to capture a dominating market share and in this process small shopkeepers and businessmen will disappeared.
Satti blamed Congress national president Sonia Gandhi for it and blamed her for selling national interest to foreigners. Taking a quip at Himalayan Ski Village, he said that by selling over 6000 bigha of land to Ford is not going to get anything for state and its people.
BJP leader blamed GS Bali, Consumer and civil supply Minister, for working in favour of rich people. He said that Bali is working to facilitate rich multi brand retail by ignoring poor people.
Satpal Singh Satti said that State BJP won’t allow it and will launch agitation to protect small and marginal shopkeepers.
