Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh handed over the keys of two ambulances to Indian Association of Muscular Dystrophy, Solan and Shree Sanatan Dharm Sabha, here today. These ambulances have been donated by State Bank of India under corporate social responsibility.
One ambulance has been given to Shree Sanatan Dharm Sabha and another to Indian Association of Muscular Dystrophy, Solan.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that apart from catering the banking needs of the people of the State, SBI was also providing valuable services in health, education and social service sectors. He said such activities would go a long way in providing relief to the poor and needy section of the society.
Virbhadra Singh said that Indian Association of Muscular Dystrophy was also working for the well being of disabled persons. He urged them to reach out to every person suffering with Muscular dystrophy.
