Himachal Pradesh has witnessed four swine flu deaths while seven positive cases have been reported so far. Majority of such cases are from Solan and Kangra districts while one case was reported from Bilaspur district.
As a precautionary measure, separate isolation wards have been created at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Shimla and Dr Rajendra Prasad Medical College at Tanda. As a precaution measure, Health officials are distributing medicines to people who came in contact with patients.
