Transport Minister G.S. Bali said that the rural areas in Himachal Pradesh will have proper road connectivity. He said that he has forwarded a proposal to this effect before Dr. C.P. Joshi, Union Road Transport Minister in a meeting held at Transport Bhawan, New Delhi today.
The Union Minister assured that the proposal would be considered sympathetically once it is submitted by the Himachal Pradesh Government to the Ministry. G.S. Bali revealed that existing 91 kilometers long single lane National Highway from Mallan-Nagrota Bagwan to Mubarakpur would be put under Trench- II Scheme in order to make convert it to double lane.
