On the proud occasion of the State level function at Sunni, Shimla, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, who is also representing the assembly segment (Shimla Grammin), offers goodies for his new political turf and made 43rd Statehood Day memorable for the people of the segment.
To facilitate the people of Dhami area and their long standing demand, Chief Minister announced Dhami as the new Sub Tehsil. He also announced to upgrade Primary Health Centre Halog, Dhami to Community Health Centre. Also, he promised to construct a multipurpose stadium at Katasani near Shimla and an ITI in Rural Shimla.
Giving added priority to education sector, Chief Minister said that Science and Commerce streams would be started in the Government College, Sunni. Upgrading Government Middle School Dabri to High School, Government Primary School, Hyun to Middle School, Government High School, Madukhar to Senior Secondary School, Government High School, Neen to Senior Secondary School were amongst other major announcements made by the CM at the function. He also announced to invest Rs. 20 lakh on the playground of GSSS Sunni to make it a stadium. He also promised to connect every single village with road facilities.
