Authorities of Government Polytechnic College in Sundernagar have suspended two students for ragging and torturing Rishi Dutta, a first-year student of automobile engineering. The victim, who was staying in a rented accommodation, had wounds and burn marks on his body.
The case came into light when victim was admitted to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Shimla for treatment and counselling.
After Aman Kachroo’s ragging case, it is another case where student was tortured with serious injuries.
Police said that a case has been registered against the accused students were presented in a juvenile court, which granted them bail.
