Heavy to moderate rainfall slashed at many places in Himachal Pradesh during the last 24 hrs, bringing down the temperature in the state by four to five degree Celsius.

Dharamsala and Jubbal were the wettest areas in the state with 32 mm each, followed by Saloni 21 mm, Gaggal 19 mm, Dalhousie 18 mm, Solan 15 mm, Chamba 14 mm, Jogindernagar 11 mm, Kufri and Shimla 10 mm each, Sundernagar 8 mm, Bhuntar & Jubbar Hatti 7 mm each, Theog 6 mm, Mandi, Bangana and Hamirpur 5 mm each and Kalpa 4mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours respectively.

The maximum temperatures in the state have lowered by 4 to 5 degree Celsius and minimum temperatures decreased about 2 to 3 degree Celsius.

The local Met office has predicted more rain in coming 24 hours.
