To complete the process of organisational elections, which had been put on hold due to the assembly polls, the State BJP has appointed the district election in-charge for all the 12 districts.
BJP State General Secretary and State election in-charge Chandermohan Thakur made the appointments of 12 district election in-charge for the smooth conduct of the party elections as per the party Constitution.
Kripal Parmar is given the responsibility of Bilaspur district, Ramswaroop Sharma will look into organisational elections in politically important Kangra district, Vipin Parmar is given charge of Chamba District, Senior Party Leader and former Cabinet minister in previous Dhumal Govt, Rajeev Bindal is appointed election in-charge of Shimla District, Vikram Thakur in appointed for Kullu District, Praveen Sharma appointed election in-charge of Mandi District, Ajay Rana will look into election process of Kinnaur District, Balbir Bagga will oversee the organisational elections in Sirmaur District, Ganesh Dutt appointed for Solan District, Pyare Lal for Una District, Randhir Sharma will look in Dhumal home district Hamirpur and Praveen Sharma given responsibility of tribal Lahaul Spiti district.
Chandermohan Thakur also fixed the date for holding of the elections for the polling committees between January 5 to 12, the Mandal elections between January 14 to 21 and the district president and state executive members between January 22 to 30.
