Senior Indian National Congress Leader and HPCC Chief Virbhadra Singh has urged the Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ajit Singh to restart the flights to Shimla, Kullu and Dharamsala, which are stopped after the discontinuation of flights by the Kingfisher Airlines. Singh urged the minister to take up the issue with Air India to introduce flights to the three destinations.
He also discussed the issue to explore the possibility of extending the length of the airstrip at the Jabbarhatti airport, to facilitate landing of bigger aircrafts.
