Congress high-command acted swiftly over the latest expulsion of low rang leaders of Himachal Congress and stayed the expulsions ordered by Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee President Virbhadra Singh after polling on November 4. The party high command has constituted a three-member committee to look into all poll-related complaints.
The three-member committee comprising Congress Legislature Party leader Vidya Stokes and former ministers Viplove Thakur and Kuldeep Kumar was constituted by All-India Congress Committee general secretary and state affairs in charge Birender Singh Chaudhary. The committee will have to report back after looking into all complaints received by the party within three weeks.
