Trinmool Congress holds its rally at Theog, which was attended by K D Singh, MP and incharge of northern states. Hundreds of TMC supporters attended that rally. K D Singh declared state party president Pramod Sharma as candidate from the Theog assembly segment.
While addressing the rally K D Singh declared that party is keen to contest all 68 assembly seats and wanted to emerge as an alternative to BJP and Congress. He stated that party is looking for potential candidates with clean image for the poll. He accused both BJP and Congress of being “corrupt and power hungry”, and added that TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee is the only leader in the country with clean image and dedicated to poor.
He claimed that the Mamata Banerjee’s slogan of Maa, Mati and Manus (mother, motherland and people) is catching up with the people. He added that TMC is emerging a potential political force in Himachal.
