At least 12 persons, including six medicos, were injured in a clash at the Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (DRPGMC), Tanda. The clash took place after a medico was allegedly attacked with a sharp-edged weapon by a village youth. The police said trouble started when a village youth and a medico got into an argument over an eve-teasing incident. The village youth allegedly attacked the medico, injuring his hand.
Soon, word spread in the college and medicos gathered near the gate. By this time villagers had also arrived there and both groups clashed. Six medicos and an equal number of villagers were reportedly injured in the clash.
