Himachal Pradesh Cabinet in its Meeting held here today granted permission to recruit 800 constables in Himachal Pradesh Police to further strengthen the State Police Force to maintain effective law and order conditions in every part of the State.
Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal presided over the Meeting. It was approved to accept the Report of the Benami Commission and direct Revenue and Home Departments to initiate further required action in the cases mentioned in the Report.
Cabinet also approved to release bonus @ 8.33 percent to the left out officials and officers of Food and Civil Supplies Corporation for the financial years of 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11. The maximum amount to be disbursed shall be not more than Rs. 3,500 in each case.
It was approved to upgrade Police Posts at Kala Amb, District Sirmour and Fatehpur, District Kangra, as full fledged Police Stations, besides opening new Police Posts at Tanda, District Kangra, Tahliwal, District Una and Neoli (Sainj) District Kullu, to cater to the law and order services to the residents in the area.
It was decided to upgrade 20-bedded Ayurvedic Hospital at Hamirpur to 50-bedded Hospital to expand health network in the area and cater to the increasing demand of people in the area.
It was approved to adopt Policy for Capacity Enhancement for Optimization and Levy of Capacity Addition Charges to regulate the projects seeking capacity enhancement over and above the approved capacity.
It was also approved to grant permission for re-location of 30MW Malana-III HEP in District Kullu.
It was also decided to enhance capacity of 9 MW Beas Kund HEP to 12 MW by allowing setting up a separate unit to generate 3 MW additional power.
It was approved to adopt a Policy for Extension in Milestones on Change of Domain and Shifting of Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) on grant of extension.
It was approved to amend Section 14 of Himachal Pradesh Land Revenue Act with a view to make the same more rational and practical for implementation.
It was approved to simplify and rationalize Stamp Duty and Registration Fee structure with a view to facilitate the people in the State.
Approval was granted to the Draft Himachal Pradesh Tax on Entry of Goods into Local Area Rules, 2012.
It was approved to purchase one new vehicles for Himachal Pradesh Lokayukta and one vehicle for HP State Seed and Organic Produce Certification Agency.
