On the last day of nominations today, four candidates have filed their nominations for two Assembly Constituencies in the State. In Nalagarh Assembly Constituency, Indian National Congress candidate Lakhvinder Singh Rana filed his nomination paper. Whereas, in Renuka Assembly Constituency, Jagdish Chand filed his nomination paper as a covering candidate of Indian National Congress.
Sunder Singh of village Khala Kyar of Tehsil Renuka, and Rajesh Kumar of village Bandal, Sub-Tehsil Nohradhar, filed their nomination papers as Independent Candidates from Renuka Assembly Constituency. Today was the last day of nomination and now there are two candidates from Nalagarh and Five candidates from Renuka Constituency. Yesterday, BJP candidates have filled their nomination. Chief Electoral Officer Narinder Chauhan informed that the scrutiny would be done by the concerned Returning Officers (S.D.Ms.) of Nalagarh and Renuka on 14th November in the presence of all the candidates. Election will be held on 30th November.
