Health Minister Dr Rajiv Bindal said that a Multi-Speciality Camp would be held at Sarahn in the month of October in which Rs. 5 lakhs would be spent. He disclosed this while interacting with the medical officers at Civil Hospital Sarahn in district Sirmour where he made a surprise visit today. He inspected the hospital premises and took stock of the treatment facilities being provided to the patients and issued necessary directions to the BMO regarding upkeep and maintenance of the hospital building.
Dr Rajiv Bindal announced Rs 3 lakh for improving the condition of the labour room in the hospital and added that Dental X-Ray equipment would be installed in the hospital soon to facilitate the patients of the area. He further directed the Block Medical Officer to ensure speedy completion of the OPD Block building.
