Parwanoo: Two people were reported to have been killed and six others injured when a Haryana Roadways bus (Volvo) severed off the road and rolled down in the gorge near TTR Resort Parwanoo on Shimla-Chandigarh National Highway today afternoon.
There were eight passengers traveling in the bus at the time of mishap. The one seriously injured was referred to PGI Chandigarh and other five persons were being treated at Parwanoo Hospital. Deceased have not been identified yet.
Governor Urmila Singh, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, Transport Minister G.S Bali, Cabinet Ministers and CPS have expressed grief over the mishap and expressed condolences with family members of deceased.
