The trial for Hockey, Volley-Ball, Judo, Kabbadi, Handball, Athletics, Wrestling and Boxing would be held from 6th to 7th May, 2011 at Lhunu Ground, Bilaspur for the admission in the sports hostel, Una and Bilaspur. The age limit prescribed for taking part in the trials is 13 to 19 years, however, merit will be given to sportsperson aged between 13 to 15 years.
Priority would be given to those who have excelled themselves in different sports category at School, State and National level. Besides, the height of those sportsperson opting for Volley-Ball trials should be more than six feet. Those interested, may report at the training centres Una and Bilaspur for respective hostels along-with necessary documents as certificates of educational qualification, age proof and other merit certificates of excellence in various sports. The candidates are also required to bring duly attested two pass port size photographs with them.
