Chief Minister meets Law fraternity and stresses on speedy trial for the prompt justice to the people. He termed delayed justice as no justice and said that delayed justice prove detrimental to the affected persons.
Presiding over two-day long meeting of Akhil Bhartiya Adhivakta Parishad here today, Chief Minister stressed the need for expeditious investigation of cases by investigating agencies so that court could taken decision on such cases at the earliest. He said that today the corruption was the main issue before the nation and there was a need for self introspection and we all should come out to root out corruption from the society. He said that State Government was determined to root out corruption and added that all efforts were being taken by the Government in this respect. He said that corrupt whosoever he might be influential would not go scot-free and innocent would not be harassed unnecessarily.
Chief minister said that fresh thinking is necessary on all legal and constitutional aspects and added that misuse and misinterpretation of constitution should not be allowed by any person at any cost. He said that Akhil Bhartiya Adhivakta Parishad was not merely a body of lawyers set up to protect and promote professional interest but it was bound to become the nucleus of the constituent Assembly of resurgent Bharat. Chief Minister said that one should abide by the constitution otherwise federal system of the country would be in peril.
