The Ministry of Agriculture Government of India has approved Rs. 19 crore plans for Macro Management of Agriculture for Himachal Pradesh. It’s stated in meeting between the Secretary of the State Government Ram Subhag Singh, Director Agriculture J. C. Rana and with senior officers of the Ministry at New Delhi today. Ram Subhag Singh revealed that Rs. 4 crore has sanctioned for the development of wheat and rice programme, same amount for the watershed development programme, A crore for water harvesting system and 2 crore for organic farming. He said that the remaining 8 crore will spent on other allied activities under the Plan.
