A meeting of Joint Consultative Committee of NGOs Federation was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Rajwant Sandhu that is also attended by Principal Secretaries and Heads of Departments.
While discussing various demands of the Federation, Chief Secretary said that Government would consider their demands sympathetically on an appropriate time on merit. The main demands include grant of 4-9-14 special increments, grant of arrears on account revision of pay scales etc. Chief Secretary directed all the Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and Heads of Departments to hold pending DPC meetings at the earliest and ACRs be completed on priority. She also directed Secretaries, Heads of Departments to hold meeting with the departmental association periodically and begin with the next meeting should be held before 30th April, 2011 positively.
President NGO Federation Prem Singh Bharmouri, Senior Vice President N.R. Thakur, General Secretary of the Federation Purshotam Guleria, Surender Thakur and other office bearers of the federation participated in the meeting.
