A delegation led by MLA Lahaul- Spiti Dr. Ram Lal Markandey met Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal alongwith Pradhan Gram Panchayat Losar, Up Pradhan, Tashi Rigzen, Lambadev, Tashi Phunchog from Hansa, Tangyod Phuchou BJP Member regarding opening of Rangrik-Losar road which was blocked due to heavy snowfall recently. They urged that Border Road Organization (BRO), who is presently looking after the clearance work was moving at snail-pace and it should be strictly directed to undertake snow clearance work at war footing to avoid inconvenience to the people of the area.
They also demanded filling up of the vacant posts of teachers in Government Senior Secondary School, Hansa, Government Middle School, Kayto, Kaymo and Chichong. The delegation also requested the Chief Minister to fill up the vacant posts of para-medical staff in Primary Health Centre, Hansa and Losar. Chief Minister assured the delegation that their demands would be considered on priority.
