After showing some hope in the first three days of the game, again Himachal Cricket team choked and failed to take last five wickets of Service team. In the final inning Pratik Desai of Services team scored fantastic double hundred and forced host to settled with 3 points in the game.
In the first inning Himachal team scored 364 with the help of debutant Amit kumar’s fighting hundred and it was well supported by the jubilant fast bowlers as R Dhawan and VS Malik shared 8 wicket and helped to bundled the Service’s team on 202. After forcing follow on Himachal bowlers again dominate the match and once Service team’s 5 wickets were down on 104, and still were trailing to the Himachal’s first inning score. But opener Pratik Desai and wicket keeper Sarabjit Singh showed cricketing temperament and helped team to surpass the opponent’s score. Sarabjit fall after scoring 47 in critical 148 balls with six boundaries. Pratik scored 202 runs in his 415 balls inning with the help of 24 boundaries.
