A review meeting of the State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation was held under the Chairmanship of Food and Civil Supplies Minister Ramesh Dhawala here today. Addressing the meeting, minister directed the officers to take effective steps to ensure profit to the Corporation besides providing better services to the consumers. He said that availability of essential commodities should be ensured in all fair price shops across the State so that people could avail the benefits of the PDS schemes of the Government.
The Minister said that State Government had taken up the issue of shortage of foodgrains, kerosene oil and domestic gas supply emphatically with the Centre time and again so that consumers of the State did not find any difficulty.
Vice Chairman, State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Ram Swaroop Sharma, Managing Director Padam Singh Chauhan, and other officers of the Department and Corporation attended the meeting.
