Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today visited the Ghumarwin and Bilaspur hospitals to inquire the well being of the injured of the bus mishap near Rahian Bridge in Bilaspur district on Wednesday.
He said that the treatment cost of injured would be borne by the State Government. The government will also make all possible arrangements for those visiting Haridwar to perform rituals of the deceased.
Later, interacting with the media persons at Circuit House Bilaspur, CM assured to take appropriate measures to restrict overloading in the buses and the Government will see that the licenses and routes of those who violate the norms stands cancelled.
He said that the Government will force buses, whether private or HRTC to abide by the law and would rake stringent action against those who were overloading. He also declared to deploy more staff to keep tab on the private bus operators.
Ram Lal Thakur Chairman Twenty Point Programme implementation committee, Rajesh Dharmani CPS, Bambar Thakur MLA, JP Nadda Secretary Parliament Board, DC Dr. Ajay Sharma, SP Ashok Sharma and other senior officer were present on the occasion.
