Corruption is going to be a major issue in the 2014 Parliamentary elections and opposition BJP and other political parties likely to make difficult to ruling UPA during poll campaign. However, many oppose BJP also and level them at par with Congress when it comes to corruption and misuse of political power.
Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party’s, which was formed on the line of reform and vowed to make government more answerable towards its act and general public, stupendous show in Delhi Assembly Election, have given a much needed boost to reform seekers and it’s likely that more such contenders can contest 2014 General Election.
Himachal Pradesh, which is considered political dormant, can also see reform seeker in the fray. Though, there is no news and activities in Shimla, Mandi parliamentary, but in Hamirpur and Kangra parliamentary, electorates can have a choice to choose beyond traditional Congress and BJP.

Dr. Atul Thakur, Ph.D. in Biotechnology from National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, had worked as a researcher on cancer for 4 years at University of Bordeaux II and Cancer Research Centre of Marseille, France. He returned India in March 2013. He is also an active RTI activist.
Dr. Atul seeking AAP ticket and has launched a signature campaign to seek electorates favor. And even if he failed to get AAP nod, he’ll contest election as an independent candidate from Kangra.
He believes that by making correction in policies of Hydro power, effectively implementing of existing good policies and schemes of state and central Government, proper utilization of funds, promoting tourism, especially religious tourism and promoting and making good atmosphere for industries in the state can do wonder in a year for state.
