Ahead of the 2014 parliamentary election, Virbhadra Singh led Himachal Pradesh government preparing themselves and to woo electorates, they are ensuring their presence in the most part of the state.
To ensure lead over the political rivals’, Congress led government on inauguration spree in the state. After inaugurating couple of dozen projects in BJP strong bastion Hamirpur, now Virbhadra Govt wooing electorates in Kangra parliamentary and on the first day of the Kangra tour, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh inaugurated Primary Health Centre Building Sakri and laid foundation stone of Primary Health Centre Naghed.
Chief Minister also announced to open Sub Tehsil at Chadhiar, starting Science classes at Government Senior Secondary School Chadhiar and Sansal and Postgraduate classes in two subjects at late Pt. Sant Ram Government College Baijnath. He also announced to construct Science Block and new Block at Government Senior Secondary School Bhulana, upgrade Government Middle School Jandpur, Sagoor, Ustehar and Rajot to High Schools.
Virbhadra Singh also ensured to consider reopening the carton factory at Baijnath after seeking technical advice from the experts. He announced to upgrade Government High School Chaleda to Senior Secondary School, upgrading 50 bedded Civil Hospital Baijnath to 60 bedded, opening two Police Posts at Chadhiar and Multhan. Chief Minister also inaugurated Parwati Girls Hostel at CSK Agriculture University Palampur constructed at a cost of Rs. two crore. It has facility to house 56 girls.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Kaul Singh Thakur, Transport Minister G.S. Bali, Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma, Baijnath legislature Kishori Lal,
Chairman Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Jagdish Sipahiya, Chairman Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education Balbir Tegta, and many other prominent people of the region accompanied CM on his first day of tour.
Ahead of the 2014 parliamentary election, it might be Virbhadra Singh’s final official tour and to extend good show of party in the region, Congress led state government ensuring to strengthen its base in the region.
