In its endeavour to provide free medical care at the doorsteps of local people in and around its 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station a Mobile Health Van ‘Satluj Sanjeevni’ was flagged off by Sanjeev Sood, Head of Project, Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station.
The Health Van has been introduced under Corporate Social Responsibility. On this occasion officials, employees of SJVN along with locals from Jhakri Panchyat were present in large numbers.
On this occasion Sanjeev Sood said that under CSR the impetus will be on Education and Health. He told that this health van is in addition to health services already being provided to project affected families. He said that this will be operated by HelpAge India, for which MoU has already been entered into.
This Mobile Health Service will be benefitting twelve (12) project affected panchyats of Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station.
