A 20 years old Hoshiarpur, Punjab resident Sahil Sharma drowned in the Baner khad on the outskirts of this Kangra town. SDPO, Kangra, Dinesh Sharma said that two youths, Sahil Sharma and Anuj Sharma, both residents of Model town, Hoshiarpur, in Punjab, were on way to McLeodganj from Hoshiarpur on a motorcycle.
When they moved towards the Baner khad a sadhu warned them from going there, however, both of them did not paid heed to his warning, the duo started to take a bath at the khad. Sahil was drowned in the khad and his body was recovered by local divers. His parents were informed about the incident.
