Shimla: Health Minister Kaul Singh Thakur has requested opposition members to attend house after Feb. 16 Narender Modi rally.

On the eighth day of budget session, Kaul Singh asked opposition to end protest and attend session for the people of the state. He made clear that Govt won’t deter from a probe into the acts of omission and commission committed during the previous Dhumal regime. He also commented that BJP legislators also wanted to prepare for Narendra Modi’s rally.

On the first day of budget session, opposition interrupted Governor’s Address for not mentioning their charge-sheet in her address and boycotted the session. After the session, speaking to the media, Chief Minister reportedly commented that opposition members were bounded labour to a family. It’s widely covered in the media, which irate opposition and led to the stalemate in the house from the past seven proceedings.

Opposition even unsuccessfully tried to address their grievance in the house and moved a privilege motion in the house. BJP also adopted different mode of protest in the house, but all proved ineffective. Opposition even didn’t take part in the budget speech and till now didn’t take part in the debate over it.
