Irrigation & Public (IPH) Health Minister Vidya Stokes has assured to complete all pending water lifting and irrigation scheme of Chopal assembly segments. Stokes said it while responding to the question of Balbir Singh Verma, legislature Chopal assembly segment.
Verma has informed the house that in Nerwa IPH division eleven water lifting, lone irrigation schemes and eight water lifting and two irrigation schemes were pending from past ten years. He requested Minister to complete the work of pending schemes in stipulated time and demanded to take action against contractors, who had delayed construction work of the schemes.
IPH Minister has assured legislature and asked him to priorities the schemes so department could complete them on priority basis. She also assured Chopal legislature that defaulter contractors won’t be given work again and asked him with early completion of work in his region.
