Tanda: Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh laid foundation stone of three major projects at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda. He laid the foundation stone of Hostel building for Post Graduate students to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 1457.52 lakh which would provide facility to 148 students.
Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of three storied hostel building for MBBS, first year students of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 1216.03 lakh which would house 120 students. Virbhadra Singh also laid performed foundation stone of Burn Unit of Tanda Medical College to be constructed at Rs. 275.23 lakh.
He inspected the OPD and under construction block of Super speciality Hospital at Dr. RPGMC, Tanda and directed the hospital authorities to complete the construction work in time. Besides, he took the stock of various facilities being provided to the patients.
A delegation of Gram Panchayat Sadarpur called on Chief Minister on the occasion and urged the Chief Minister for providing reservation of two nursing seats and one MBBS seat in Medical College Tanda for their area. Chief Minister assured the delegation to consider their demand sympathetically.
