Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh assured the house to fill the functional vacancies in the government departments within three months. He said it during the resolution presented by the Congress legislature Asha Kumari in the house, in which she has asked to formulate a policy to fill the functional vacancies in the government departments, boards and corporations in fixed time frame.
While presenting the resolution Asha Kumari said that many functional posts are vacant and thus hampering the development activities in the most part of the state. She asked to formulate a proper and static policy to fill the vacant post in fixed time frame.
Supporting the resolution, former minister ID Dhiman, Kuldeep Kumar, Gobind Sharma, deputy speaker Vidhan Sabha JP Negi and Jai Ram Thakur asked government to fill the vacant posts in education, PWD, IPH and other important department to facilitate the common people.
While replying in the house, Chief Minister said that as promised during the election campaign, Congress led Govt is bound to fill the 4250 posts in various department and promised to fill them all in time bound manner.
