To ensure good performance in the Mandi Parliamentary by-poll, slated for June 23, the state BJP has launched aggressive campaign in the region.
At Mandi town, BJP workers took out a rally in support of their party candidate Jai Ram Thakur. Party leaders lashed out at the State and Centre governments and blamed them for promoting corrupt people. They also termed Congress rule of five months in state as tilted towards a section of their supporters and accused anti people and anti state.
Thousands of party workers attended the rally and BJP leaders including Mandi party president Jawahar Thakur, former Transport Minister Mahender Thakur, Sarkaghat MLA Inder Singh Thakur and Jai Ram Thakur were present in it.
