Minister for Transport, Food and Civil Supplies and Technical Education GS Bali said that the state government will take up the issue of bulk diesel prices with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
He said that the Oil companies had increased prices of bulk diesel for public transport companies like the HRTC and thus State transport companies are paying about Rs 10 per litre more for diesel compared to private consumers.
Transport Minister said that it has severely hit the viability of the HRTC and also had taken this matter with the Union Minister for Petroleum. Minister is hoping to resolve the matter soon.
