Himachal Pradesh National Student Union of India (NSUI) student wing of Indian National Congress, has issued show cause notice to its four district presidents. Nikhil Divedi, State NSUI in-charge, after holding meetings with NSUI state leaders including Yadopati Thakur, State NSUI president, decided to issue show cause notice against the president of Chamba, Hamirpur, Bilaspur and Una. These presidents had failed to organise the social and environmental programme on the 42nd annual day function in their district despite being order from the NSUI high command.
Nikhil Divedi said that NSUI would not spare indiscipline and inactiveness in the system and asked these leaders to respond as early as possible. He also revealed to hold road safety exhibition on 11th April at Himachal Pradesh University campus. He added that on 12th April State NSUI will hold state level meeting of its leaders at Rajiv Bhawan, State Congress Party office Shimla, in which, all Districts and campus presidents were asked to be present. NSUI will discuss the further course of action in this meeting and will also prepare road map for strengthening Congress student wing in the state.
