To train budding entrepreneurs from various parts of the districts Solan, Himachal Pradesh Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (HPCED), under the aegis of Himachal Pradesh Government’s Industries Department, conducting 10-days Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDP) at District Industries Centre (DIC) at Chambagaht in Solan.
Management professors of Bahra University also took part in it and shared their knowledge and educated participating entrepreneurs about the benefits of professional designing and packaging in business. While conducting an interactive session professionals of Bahra University also trained the participants for effectively utilising the Risk Taking Behaviours in business. Bahra University, which has recently introduced capsules programme for its management’s students, is one of the key players providing its support to H.P. Government’s efforts in self-employment generation, by supporting HPCED in EDPs being conducted in various parts of Himachal Pradesh.
One of the key participants in EDP, Shiv Kumar from Solan-Brewry appreciated the efforts of Devi Chand Bhatti – the Coordinator of the Programme for organising this EDP which has benefitted many budding entrepreneurs of district Solan.
Another key participant Vinti Mukul from Darlgaht, who is working for welfare of rural women by providing computer education to women in rural areas under the banner of Baghat Shiksha Samiti praised Bahra University for its contribution in developing entrepreneurial skills of people of Himachal Pradesh. She is also the secretary of district Solan BJP.
