Officiating president of the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) Sukhwinder Singh will take over charge on January 15 at Rajiv Bhawan, Shimla.
AICC General Secretary Birender Singh Chaudhary, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, Vidya Stokes, Kaul Singh Thakur and senior leaders of the state are reported to be present on the occasion.
Sukhwinder Singh will take over from Virbhadra Singh who resigned as the HPCC Chief after becoming the Chief Minister. He will address party workers and also hold a meeting with office-bearers of the district and block units of the party. Party workers are working to give him grand welcome.
