Congress leader from Chopal, Rajneesh Kimta, is named among 16 secretaries in the prestigious Congress campaign committee. Kimta thanked party high command for the respect and assured that he will work towards strengthening Congress cadre from grass root level and will leave no stone unturned to throw BJP regime off the power. He said that Prem kumar Dhumal led BJP Govt. has made Congress work easy as in the last four and half years, they have done nothing for the common masses. He alleged that many BJP Ministers are involved in the corruption and one of them had been forced to resign from the post as well. He remarked that instead of sidelining him, BJP has embraced him in the party set-up and that shows its true picture.
He also criticized, BJP for the current situation of Chopal constituency where bad roads, water and other basic facilities are the need of the hour. He said that BJP has done many inaugurations in its tenure but none of them is implemented yet. He said that public of Himachal is well aware of their tactics and this time they won’t get chance to fool them. He alleged that BJP Govt has been partial towards the Chopal segment, as there remain wide differences between their words and actions.
Rajneesh Kimta is among young lot of Congress leaders, is currently a PCC member and had been active in politics from last twenty years. He is also a party ticket seeker from Chopal constituency. However, it remains to be seen if he gets it.
