To oust the BJP Govt, Himachal Pradesh Congress is planning to start Parivartan Yatra, which will pass through all Assembly segments to help mobilise workers at the grassroots.
All Congress leaders will be a part of this rally, which will end the tendency of senior leaders to carry out individual shows and will forced party leaders to come under one banner to initiate successful and effective campaign. The schedule of Parivartan Yatra is not disclosed yet but it is speculating that it will begin from Paonta Sahib. Yatra will be carried out in phases. The high command is sending a self-contained vehicle with a hydraulic platform, which can be used for addressing rallies en route the yatra, which will be conducted in a roadshow mode.
PCC chief Kaul Singh Thakur, Leader of the Opposition Vidya Stokes and PCC officer-bearers will move around the state on the vehicle. Local district leaders will join the Yatra in the middle of it and Senior leaders will join them in between.
The party is also organising four Parivartan Rallies, one each in the parliamentary constituencies of Dharamsala on June 7, in Nahan on June 17, in Mandi on June 30 and in Hamirpur on July 5. The proposed Parivartan Yatra will be suspended during these rallies.
