Congress leader and sitting MLA Nagrota Bagwan GS Bali criticised the BJP government for its failure on all fronts, particularly on providing basic amenities like drinking water and law and order situation, in the state.
In a press conference at his residence GS Bali expressed concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in the state and demanded a CBI inquiry into the alleged murder of 15-year-old Rajat of Fatehpur which had resulted in public outcry and subsequent violence by villagers and firing, cane charging and tear gas shelling by the police yesterday.
He also targeted BJP Govt over increasing corruption in State and Health Minister Rajeev Bindal resignation is a live example of it. He said that Bindal was removed because of corruption charges were levelled against him by the Congress in the Vidhan Sabha. Earlier also, Bindal had offered to resign after pressure from the Congress during the Budget Session, but his resignation was not accepted by the Chief Minister. However, resignation of the minister cannot absolve the present government from the charges of corruption. The Congress had been demanding a probe by a central agency into charges levelled against Bindal, he alleged.
He said that HP Govt was failed in many front and now as few months for the assembly election, people of Himachal Pradesh will through this corrupt BJP regime from the power.
