A meeting of the Officers of Food and Civil Supplies Department, Food and Civil Supplies Corporation and Representatives of Employees Union was held under the Chairmanship of Food and Civil Supplies Minister Ramesh Dhawala.
Addressing the meeting, Minister directed the officers to identify land to construct godowns in Shimla area for storing essential food grains. He also directed the officers of the Indian Oil Corporation and Hindustan Petroleum to ensure the supply of domestic gas to the consumers of the State especially in Tribal areas.
He also asked the officers of the Civil Supplies Corporation to complete the work on gas godown at Theog soon. He also suggested them to make the fair price shops running in losses commercially viable. Dhawala assured the employees union that their genuine demands would be considered sympathetically.
