Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal said that State Government is mulling to explore the possibility of setting up of cow dung and cow urine based industry in the State which would provide employment to the people on the one hand and proper utilization of cow dung and urine on the other hand. He said that Government would provide training to the youth in preparing medicines out of cow dung and urine as this was traditional method of medicine. The training and new technology would definitely add colours to it. Chief Minister said it in a function organized ‘Kamna Purni Goshawala Sansthan’ Tutu on the occasion of Gopashtmi.
Chief Minister said that the Government was also giving priority for setting up of “Go-Sadans” in the State and expressed happiness that various agencies were coming forward for this. He said that the proposed industry would also fetch good income for the Go-Sadan. He gave clarion call to the voluntary organizations to come forward and set up Go-sadans in the State. Chief Minister said that possibilities would be explored to provide shelter facility to the Go-sadan at Tutu.
An exhibition based on cow dung and urine products was set up on the occasion. Chief Minister also performed Go-poojan on the occasion. Dile Ram Thakur, President of Go-sadan Majhthai welcome the Chief Minister. Ram Lal, National BJP Organizing Secretary, Members of Kamana Purni Goshala Sanstha and other prominent people were also present on the occasion.
