Health Minister Dr. Rajiv Bindal reviewed the meeting of Health Department and clear that screening had been done in 13560 schools till 30th April, 2011 under Chief Minister Students Health Programme. He said that so far cluster camps had been organized in 2194 schools of the State.
Dr. Bindal said that medical check ups of 4,93,214 students had already been done till date. He added that first phase of this health programme will complete by June 30. During medical check ups, 57,892 students were referred to various primary health institutions. Dr. Bindal added that 10, 639 full dentures and 420 partial dentures had been provided under ‘Muskan’ Project. The scheme had been started in 71 Government Dental Clinics in the State.
Principal Secretary Health P.C. Dhiman, MD NRHM Rakesh Kanwar and Additional Director Health Rohit Jamwal attended the meeting.
