Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal dedicated development projects and laid foundation stones of various other projects of Rs. 22 crore. CM dedicated Sub Jail Building completed at a cost of Rs. 390.85 lakhs and Milk Pasteurization and Packaging Plant made operational at a cost of Rs. 6 crores to the residents of district Solan and laid foundation stone of Integrated Housing and Slum Development Housing Colony to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 958.73 lakh to house 336 families of urban poor, Fire Brigade Building estimated to cost Rs. 138.63 lakh. He also dedicated newly constructed Multipurpose Hall completed at a cost of Rs. 44.49 lakh to the students of the college.
