The peaceful State got disrupted yesterday when three young men were killed in a clash between two communities in Paonta Sahib. The mob went violent torching and damaging vehicles, blocking Nahan-Dehradun highway and trying to trespass Balmiki colony in Heerpur village, this was though brought under some control by the administration imposing prohibitory, and police resorting to use of bamboos to disperse crowds which tried to enter the Balmiki colony. Ten people have been arrested, while Balmiki families allegedly involved in the murders are reported to have fled to the neighbouring State of Uttarakhand.
