Famous girls’ college St Bede’s has been re-accredited with Grade-A by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The NAAC team led by Chairperson, Prof S.F. Patil visited the century-old college in December last year and honored the college with Grade-A level.
Principal of the college Dr. Molly Abraham said that “Despite facing a severe financial crunch, we have ensured that the teaching standard and other infrastructural facilities in the college are of the best standard.”
The principal has hoped that the certification will help restore the 95% government grant-in-aid that was withdrawn earlier.
