English has become a necessity in today’s fast paced world. But somehow children who are deprived of this language like in a government school fail to match upto international standards. With an IQ scaling at unexpected levels such students are stomped on and outpaced by convent educated children. To avoid such a treatment, Himachal Pradesh Education Board has given a nod to prepare an English based syllabus which will educate every child in this universally accepted language that too without burning a hole in the parent’s pocket. To be decided in cabinet meetings due on February 28th and March 9th the proposal is said to roll out in 2011 itself. But keeping in mind all the formalities and work involved it’s expected to take a plunge only in the year 2012.
